Annette Niemczyk, a Senior Engineer at Envision Technology Advisors, has been named a “Woman to Watch” in the Technical Services category of this year’s Business Women Awards program from the Providence Business News.
Annette began working at Envision in 2003 as an intern, coming to the company directly out of school. Annette’s desire to grow her skills, and her ambitions to one day become a Senior Engineer, quickly pushed her to proactively seek out harder assignments and to challenge herself with projects that pushed the limits of her comfort zone.
“For over a decade now, I’ve had the great privilege of watching Annette’s talents develop from the intern role that she took when she joined Envision, to the very talented and confident Senior Engineer that she’s become today,” says Envision’s CEO, Todd Knapp.
Annette was promoted to the role of Engineer in 2004 and then named one of the company’s Senior Engineers less than a year later. This rapid rise through the company’s ranks is a testament to her dedication to excellence and her willingness to help both customers and fellow team members.
“Annette is a consummate engineer,” adds Sean Trifero, Envision’s Director of Engineering. “Her ability to understand client concerns and find solutions to those concerns is uncanny. She is able to stay calm and focused in the midst of disaster, which is a product of years of dedication and experience.”
In being recognized in this year’s awards, Annette joins 11 other award winners and 12 Achievement Honorees for 2014. The full list of winners can be seen on the Providence Business News’ website.
“I am honored to have been selected for this award,” said Annette. “Technology has always been one of my passions and it has been an amazing and rewarding experience climbing the ladder both technically and professionally with Envision.”
