Hobbies, activities, or interests:
I enjoy skeet shooting on Friday nights with the Mrs., date night! And target shooting in the backyard. When I’m not reverse-engineering the latest malware I’m on the tractor pulling stumps and leveling fresh topsoil. Most fulfilling is that every night we sit together as a family for dinner to talk about our day, no electronics at the table and we each state one challenge we had today, how we overcame it, and one good part of the day. My favorite part of every day!
Interesting story or fact about me:
When I first started dating my wife we began learning about each other’s background. At this time, we lived about 30-mins apart, but come to find out we grew up one street over from one another. My wife’s great grandparents sponsored my mom’s parents as they applied for and gained US citizenship.

Drawing on more than 20-years of experience in the technology field has allowed me to focus on how security impacts them all. An experienced Senior Manager of Information Security and leader focused on aligning people, processes, and technology to meet the demand of various clients across multiple regulatory and business verticals.
As a Certified EC-Council Instructor I have created and lead trainings to help fill the growing need for experienced security professionals. My passion to learn and help others has led to being a 2020 TECH 10 award winner.
